1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using The Perfect Poll, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, you should discontinue use of the platform immediately.
2. Platform Purpose
The Perfect Poll is an entertainment-based sports prediction platform designed for confidence-style pick’em competitions. The platform is intended for recreational and social gameplay purposes only.
The Perfect Poll is not a sportsbook, gambling operator, or wagering platform.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use The Perfect Poll. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and belongs to you.
4. Accounts and Security
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activity associated with their account.
The Perfect Poll reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate platform rules or engage in abusive behavior.
5. League Participation
Leagues may be managed by platform administrators or league commissioners. Commissioners may control league-specific settings, participation rules, league messages, invitations, and related league functionality.
The Perfect Poll is not responsible for disputes between league participants, commissioner decisions, private league rules, prize arrangements, or disagreements outside the platform.
6. Pick Submission and Deadlines
Picks must be submitted before the published weekly deadline. Once picks are locked, they may no longer be editable.
In leagues using Blind functionality, incomplete or missing pick sheets may automatically be replaced with league-configured Blind selections after the weekly lock deadline.
7. Scoring and Results
The Perfect Poll uses confidence-based scoring systems that may vary by game type. Standings, scoring calculations, tiebreakers, and results are determined by platform logic and league configuration settings.
Administrators reserve the right to correct scoring errors, matchup errors, or platform-related mistakes when necessary.
8. Platform Evolution and Availability
The Perfect Poll platform may continue evolving throughout launch seasons, future updates, and active development cycles. Certain features may be modified, introduced gradually, temporarily unavailable, or removed as the platform grows.
Users acknowledge that bugs, outages, scoring corrections, data corrections, maintenance periods, and other interruptions may occasionally occur.
9. Acceptable Use
Users may not:
- Attempt to disrupt or exploit the platform
- Access accounts that do not belong to them
- Use abusive, threatening, or illegal content
- Attempt to manipulate scoring or league integrity
- Use automated scripts or bots without permission
10. Intellectual Property
The Perfect Poll name, logos, branding, platform design, scoring systems, workflows, written content, and original platform materials are the property of The Perfect Poll unless otherwise stated.
Users may not reproduce, redistribute, copy, modify, or commercially exploit platform materials without permission.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.
The Perfect Poll does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or the accuracy of all displayed information.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Perfect Poll shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the platform.
13. Changes to These Terms
These Terms of Service may be updated periodically as the platform evolves. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
